Janye's Foshan facility runs two sintered-stone production lines in parallel. Italian SACMI automatic presses handle the 6 mm core spec; a Chinese Henglitai 10,000 T press handles 12 mm and large-format up to 1600×3200. Roller kilns, roller printers and a 100,000 m² warehouse close the loop.

Production line · nine stages

Every slab passes through nine controlled stages — from raw powder to sealed pallet.

  1. 01

    Raw material preparation

    Feldspar, clay and mineral pigments are milled, blended by dry-line, and stored in day-silos above the presses. Chemistry per batch is logged.

  2. 02

    Colour body assembly

    For full-body series, the colour system is layered into the powder bed to match the surface pattern — so cut edges reveal the same veining as the face.

  3. 03

    Forming · SACMI 4800–7200 T

    Belt-mold pressing for 6 mm slabs at 4,800 – 7,200 tonnes. Micro-mold texture applied in the same stroke — no post-pressing embossing.

  4. 04

    Forming · Henglitai 10,000 T

    Parallel line for 12 mm and 1500×3200 / 1600×3200 formats. Belt mold applies the surface pattern uniformly across the larger slab area.

  5. 05

    Drying

    Multi-chamber horizontal dryer removes residual moisture to ≤ 0.5 %. Moisture logs travel with the slab for the remainder of the line.

  6. 06

    Roller printing

    Digital roller printers apply surface graphics at high resolution — up to eight passes per slab. This is the stage that gives each series its material identity.

  7. 07

    Firing · roller kiln

    Roller kiln at ~1,200 °C. Firing curve tuned per series to lock pigmentation and reach full-body vitrification (water absorption ≤ 0.5 %).

  8. 08

    Finishing · matte / polished / textured

    Matte micro-mold is house standard. Polished and R11-textured finishes applied post-kiln on dedicated lines.

  9. 09

    QC · dimensional and cosmetic

    100% dimensional inspection (thickness, squareness, edge). Visual QC scans for surface defects — rejects are recycled back to raw material.

01 · Production

Two parallel production lines

Line 1: SACMI presses + roller kiln + digital roller printers, dedicated to the 6 mm core spec. Line 2: Henglitai 10,000 T press + roller kiln, dedicated to 12 mm and large-format slabs. Both lines share raw-material preparation and QC.

02 · Storage

100,000 m² warehouse

70,000 – 80,000 m² of permanent domestic stock across sizes, thicknesses and series. Includes import inventory of INALCO, TECHLAM, COVERLAM and ATLAS PLAN slabs.

03 · Design & R&D

Ten-series design programme

Colour and pattern development on-site. New references validated on Line 1 before catalogue release. 2,000+ self-developed SKUs in the archive.

04 · Logistics

Domestic + export dispatch

Palletised for domestic road freight; sea-worthy A-frames for export container loading. Standard 20' and 40' loading patterns published for planners.

05 · QC laboratory

Physical & chemical test bench

In-house water absorption, breaking strength, flexural, MOH hardness, and dimensional tests. Third-party certification bodies conduct annual on-site verification.

06 · Showroom & sample lab

On-site A&D suite

Architects and specifiers can visit Foshan to see full-format slabs, request cut-to-size samples, and inspect mock-up installations. Advance booking through the contact page.
